Folkrock, some tunes that swing, some that rock, some bluesy songs, big voice, songs that will make you smile, one or two may bring a tear to your eyes – you might like this album.

Genre: Folk: Folk-Rock

Release Date: 2013

Eleven original songs, four of them co-written with my friends Fred Grittner, Terry Lee Ransom and Rex DeLong.
Six covers – Johnny Cash´s ‘Folsom Prison Blues’, Warren Zevon´s ‘The Heartache’, John Stewart´s ‘All Time Woman’,
Jez Lowe´s ‘Bait Up’, Gordon Bok´s ‘Dillan Bay’ and Townes Van Zandt´s ‘None But The Rain’.
Fred and Charlie Woodward play guitars, mandolin and bass and Tamara Friedrichs sings. Sweet.
Wide range of topics – night scenes, love and the sadness, joy, hope and longing that it brings, a soldier home from the war who cannot come to terms with what he had to go through, old men reminiscing, and the odd whimsical song to boot.
The music soothes, rocks, swings, smiles, and there´s also the blues.
Ah, stop reading and listen. There´s a fair chance you will like what you hear.
